We are currently recruiting for an Academic Mentor Post for an Maths graduate in high-achieving secondary school in the borough of Hackney.
What is the role?
***Maths Graduate Academic Mentor
***Working in the Maths department
***In a Hackney based secondary
***Supporting KS3, GCSE and A-Level pupils in small groups
***Working with pupils across the ability spectrum
***Mentoring pupils to help them achieve their potential in coursework and exams
***£70 - £90 per day salary
***Long Term, Full-Time position starting immediately
What is the Maths department looking for?
***A graduate from a good university
***2.1 or above Bachelors degree in Maths
***Good A-Levels and GCSEs across the board
***Experience working with young people
***Some experience with vulnerable learners or children with SEN is desirable
***A hardworking and enthusiastic graduate
Where will you be working?
***A top Hackney secondary with an 'Outstanding' ofsted report
***Based near to Dalston overground links
***Working with pupils across all year groups from KS3 - KS5 as Maths Academic Mentor
