Job description

We are recruiting three Graduate Project Executives who will provide close support to our project managers working in our operational delivery teams. Each graduate will gain experience in a broad range of skills including construction project management, programme management, design management, commercial and financial control, managing sales teams, development management and dealing with customers. Successful completion of the programme and the emergence of leadership skills will see you being promoted to a management position.

Each project manager will be responsible for ensuring that individual graduates have a tailored graduate programme and are provided with direct experience across the company. You will spend time with individuals providing specialist advice on areas such as marketing, sales, finance, commercial, land and planning. We have a select team of 35 people working in the business which has a flat matrix structure, so you will be visible in the organisation benefiting from working closely with the Directors, gaining insights and learning from them.

It should be noted that Anthology does not have an in-house construction or design capability; but we work closely with a number of framework main contractors and architects, as well as other specialist consultant teams. Selected candidates are not responsible for directly leading construction teams but instead will focus on integrating multiple layers of information into a cohesive direction for our supply chain and partners.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will be a good communicator, have strong numeracy skills, a technical mind and able to take a practical, robust and thorough approach to endeavours. You will need organisational and planning skills, results orientation, resilience, sound interpersonal skills and have a team mentality. You are likely to be curious, quick to learn, and keen to take on responsibility. We want people who can challenge the “status quo”, be collaborative and also have a sense of fun. We expect individuals to build confidence in their problem solving, planning, organising and analytical skills, to allow them to develop into capable leaders who can resolve complex development problems, manage competing priorities and deliver quality results to tight deadlines.

You must be eligible to work and live permanently in the UK.

Qualifications

Applicants will need a 2:1 (Hons) degree in a property or engineering related course. Relevant Masters degrees would be welcomed. We encourage and support relevant professional qualifications e.g. RICS
