The role

We’re looking for a great Analyst to join our central data team and support our digital Marketing function. You will drive actionable insights for our core channels such as PPC, paid Social and Programmatic and set up clear and accurate reporting to highlight opportunities. The role is very partnership-based and you will spend a lot of time speaking with stakeholders, understanding their challenges and helping the teams be successful. The right candidate is self-driven, has a passion for data & insights and has solid SQL & data analytics skills. carwow deeply believes in the value of data and we strive to be the leading edge of technology in the automotive industry.

What you will do

  • You will collaborate with other Analysts, Data Scientists and stakeholders to identify opportunities for, and assess improvements to carwow’s Marketing channels
  • You will focus on interesting and challenging projects, such as targeting, creative optimisation, ppc bidding, social marketing
  • You will analyse large datasets to understand digital performance and competitive behaviour
  • You will keep a pulse on performance and dive deep to understand root causes and business drivers, both external and internal
  • You will work closely with our core partners such as Google and Facebook
  • You will create actionable insights and recommendations and communicate these clearly to stakeholders across the business
  • You will never stop learning from great people


  • Good SQL skills - we mainly use Amazon Redshift & Snowflake
  • Good foundation in Analytics (campaign analysis, a/b testing, optimisation etc.)
  • You have a background in applying Analytics commercially and a proven track record to deliver results
  • You have 1-2 years experience in a tech/ e-commerce business
  • Experience using Tableau, Looker or similar BI tools
  • You have a degree (or higher) in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics/ Computer Science or similar
