Graduate Electronics Engineer. Fantastic opportunity for a bright and willing Graduate Electronics Engineer to work within a team of 10 in the Engineering department of this manufacturing electronics instrumentation company. Expanding their existing technical support team they require a bright and enthusiastic electronics engineer who will assist in the technical support of state-of-the-art products being rolled out to a global market.
The Graduate Engineer must have a good Electronics degree. Any placements or commercial experience would be beneficial but not essential.
From the degree course the Graduate should be comfortable with electronic and electrical systems, assembly & test. Able to read schematic diagrams & have a grasp of digital electronics. In addition, networking and relevant software related to networking and communications. Working closely with the Technical Support Manager you will be required to help support the customers.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Problem solve and deal with electronic and electrical issues
* Arrange on-site visits to trouble shoot, where necessary
* Assis the design team with and suggestions of schematic change and layout design
* Hardware, Firmware and software design for embedded processors
* Maintaining existing electronic products
* Document writing and reporting (attention to detail v. important)
* Support in manufacturing for products including sourcing of necessary components
* Liaising with suppliers
Some key skills that would be useful to have gained during your degree course:
* Electronics and Electrical LED design
* Microcontrollers (e.g. ARM, PIC)
* PCB, Schematics (Altium)
* Embedded C, Delphi, Python, C++, Assembly or other low level language
* Digital comms (CANbus, Modbus, Profibus)
* Networking protocols and serial comms
* EMC
* Fault finding and Testing
* Qualification and documentation
