About:
This electronics engineer position is open to graduate electronics / junior electronics engineers or electronics test engineers. The nature of the role is test and product development focused and will involve the verification of electronics products. It may lead to a design role in time for those that are interested in such a career path.
This graduate engineer / junior electronics engineer opening has been created due to continued investment into new product development.

You will receive support and training and ultimately will be responsible for the development and execution of electronics tests in order to verify and validate new products accordance to design specs and product requirements.
Also, you will be involved with developing electronics test processes and procedures to ensure adherence to stringent safety critical / highly regulated approvals and regulations.
The ideal candidate could be a graduate electronics engineer, junior electronics engineer or electronics test engineer that wants to develop their skills in test equipment design and product verification.
Skills / Knowledge:
Ideally a graduate with a degree or higher in a relevant subject (e.g. electronics engineering, computer science, physics etc)
Understanding of analogue and digital circuit theory
Experience of microprocessor / microcontroller based hardware (e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc)
Practical electronics skills (able to solder, test, fault find electronics PCBs)
Good problem solving skills and the ability to interpret electronic circuit diagrams
Good communications skills (written and verbal), able to produce technical reports and present validation processes to internal teams and external bodies
Organised, analytics and able to work autonomously, manage own projects and provide technical leadership
Others: (beneficial skills)
* Understanding low power electronics would be useful as would any ability to programme (embedded C, assembler etc)
* Knowledge of high volume manufacturing of electronics would be good
* Any knowledge of wireless / RF / IoT would be useful and would Sensors and instrumentation (e.g. heat, gas detection etc) or Optical electronic systems
