Older Person Care are seeking dynamic, innovative, quality driven band 5 nurses to join our nursing teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an environment focused on giving excellent patient care and attending to every detail. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an excellent standard of working with a passion for providing the best in patient care. To be open to learning and developing their knowledge and skill base and offer flexibility in their thinking in order to meet the ever changing needs of the customers we receive.
We can offer specialist courses in Older Person Care such as the SCOPE course, support staff through their mentorship course, there is the possibility to undertake the EXCEL course as well as other learning opportunities.
There are three Older Person’s Wards in GWH, Woodpecker Ward, Teal Ward and Jupiter Ward. The wards have between 36 and 39 beds and specialize in caring for older people with varying degrees of frailty. They are fast paced wards where the successful candidates will gain a wide range of skills and knowledge.
