Salary Scale: Band 3
Base CHH but could be asked to work on any site.
Part time: 18 hours - Hours will be worked over Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The post holder will be required to work every weekend as part of their normal duty to support a 7 day service.
NB: Normal weekend hours will commence after the initial training period. During the initial training period the hours will be worked between Monday and Friday until competency is achieved. Short periods of Monday to Friday working may be required after the initial training period for service need and to support personal development.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to complement our Physiotherapy Service at Castle Hill Hospital, although there is a requirement to be able to work at any site within the Trust.
The post supports the Elective Orthopaedic team however in the future this post may involve working in any one of a variety of specialities that physiotherapy serves.
The successful candidate will join provide support to qualified Physiotherapists both in direct patient rehabilitation and non-clinical duties associated with the running of the service.
Relevant previous experience in direct patient care is essential for the post as well as a NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent. Previous experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant or carer would be desirable.
We offer excellent in-service training and there is supervision in all clinical areas, personal development is a high priority and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to developing new skills.
