Claire House Children’s Hospiceprovide specialist nursing care and emotional support to help families smile again when life couldn’t get any tougher. Their dream is to one-day reach every single child that needs them. To achieve this ambitious target, they have already laid the foundations of a major appeal to fund the significant increase and sustainable development of their core services.
When the Hospice first opened in 1998, they supported 10 families. 20 years on, they support over 300. In just the past 6 years, they have seen an 84% increase in the number of children they support. To help the Fundraising team reach their targets, support and awareness from the community is vital.
The role ofCommunity Fundraiserrequires exceptional people skills and a passion for the work of Claire House. Whilst you will be one of the most visible faces in the organisation, you will also use your excellent collaboration, organisation and planning skills working alongside our dedicated fundraisers across our Income Generation team. Your job will be to inspire the local community to support the work of the hospice, working through a network of volunteers, managing an exciting and innovative new project.
