We’re looking for a strong full-stack web developer to supercharge our product development and join us on our mission to build the world's best platform for booking live musicians. Outstanding coding skills, a strong sense of product ownership and the ability to get things done quickly are essential. The ideal candidate will also be someone who relishes tackling interesting problems, and enjoys continually learning.

If you’re searching for faster paced challenges, this could be the role for you. We ship frequently and your work will have a huge impact and solve real problems for thousands of musicians and customers. Within our small agile team, there is scope for you to have input in everything we build.

By making it easy for our customers to book musicians, you will be responsible for creating thousands of unforgettable musical experiences and helping musicians earn a fair income all across the UK. We're receiving a large and increasing number of enquiries every month, so past experience in a rapidly scaling startup would be a strong asset.

Required:

-  Strong React/JS skills

-  Proven full-stack web development experience

-  Solid HTML/CSS knowledge

-  Familiarity with Git

-  Good communication and written language skills

Desirable:

-  Experience working with MongoDB

-  Knowledge of SCSS

-  Node/Express experience

-  An understanding of system architecture considerations and software design patterns

Nice to have:

-  Strong interest or background in music

-  Experience with Redux or other state management frameworks

-  React Native experience

-  CS background with good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and complexity

-  Experience in scaling up web services

Start date: May-June 2018

Location: Central London; bright, modern office right next to Moorgate station and near Liverpool St station. Our office is within a workspace which has ping pong, table football, fully-kitted kitchens and more. Office piano, guitars, cajon and bagel slicer. Yes, a bagel slicer.

Salary: £35-45k dependent on relevant experience and breadth of skills.

Equity: Negotiable, typically 0.25-1.0%

Hours: Typically 10-6.30pm, opportunity to work from home once a week. 25 days holiday.
