BORDERS GENERAL HOSPITAL
CLINICAL PHARMACIST (REF: PHAR221)
Band 6: £27,635 - £37,010 per annum pro rata
37.5 hours per week, Fixed Term for 12 months
We wish to recruit a forward thinking clinical pharmacist to join our clinical pharmacy team based at Borders General Hospital providing services throughout NHS Borders.
You will receive training and experience in clinical services, dispensary and aseptic services designed to meet your personal development needs. Our friendly and experienced teams will support you as you provide pharmaceutical care to a variety of patient groups, including Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Care of the Elderly.
You will be offered and encouraged to undertake continuous professional development using the Scottish Hospital Pharmacist Stage 2 Vocational Training Scheme, or other further postgraduate study depending on your level of experience and needs. In turn, you will support NHS Borders pre-registration pharmacy graduates, both BGH-based and community-based during their hospital sector placement.
