Carrwood is a highly inclusive and welcoming school at the heart of its community; we currently wish to appoint a highly motivated, experienced and inspirational teacher to join our Lower KS2 team. The post-holder will work with our Lower KS2 pupils to accelerate learning and reach the highest possible outcomes for our children.

Lower KS2 Class Teacher – : MPS 1 to MPS 6 depending on experience,

One year fix term, required for November 2018 or as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner.
  • Have a knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum & phonics.
  • Have high expectations of behaviour.
  • Be prepared to work flexibly as part of a close knit team.
  • Be able to challenge children and have high expectations.

Advanced Threshold Level

The post holder should demonstrate they can:

  • Express themselves fluently and spontaneously at length effortlessly.
  • Explain difficult concepts simply without hindering the natural smooth flow of language.
  • Take responsibility for promoting high standards of literacy, articulacy and the correct use of standard English in School.
