RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

This role reports to the Assurance Director and is responsible for creating and maintaining a new clients contracts database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of a central contracts database for Client Service Agreements for all services within Ipes
  • Assist in the creation of new processes to capture and maintain Client Service Agreements (including measures to report on the quality of the database)
  • Assist in a review of the documents issued to the client to ensure they meet business and client requirements
  • Assist in a project to review existing client contractual relationships within Ipes and update contracts where needed to meet the new requirements
  • Work with New Business, Operations, Data Assurance and Finance to reflect the agreements into other Ipes Systems
  • Ongoing responsibility to maintain the contracts database and ensure the contracts process is followed
  • Act as the contract subject matter expert for Ipes
  • Establish on-going periodic reviews and monitoring reports to report on the quality of the database
  • Train & mentor the business teams to ensure they understand the importance of contract management and ensure that they follow the processes
  • Develop and produce reporting from the contract database as required
  • Liaise confidently and knowledgably both with internal clients and external clients
  • Assist the Assurance team with its daily activities as required

STAFFING SPECIFICATION

  • Good understanding of contracts and contract management
  • Excellent MS Word skills and good MS skills, contract database experience (preferred)
  • A confident manner and the ability to communicate with staff at all levels effectively
  • Determined and resilient approach to work in order to deliver results
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a passion for quality
  • A flexible approach to work and good time management skills
  • A strong team player with a commitment to deliver outstanding client service
  • An ability to work on own initiative and support the work of the team
  • An ability to work under pressure

TARGET QUALIFICATIONS

  • Law Degree
  • Contract Management Qualification e.g., CIPFA or CIPS
