My client, a long standing and valued charity are recruiting for a Web Developer to join their team based in Maidstone Monday-Friday. Salary £22k- £30k dependent on experience
This is a local charity, with a national presence. They will look at Computing Graduates and are happy to train in the relevant areas. The successful candidate will be taking part in developing complex projects primarily with mobile applications on Android and iOS, developing internal API endpoints and web applications to support content management. Also managing the company SQL server databases and assisting in the transition to cloud-based services.
Day to day duties:
Developing monolithic RESTful API’s using the .NET Core Web API and C#.
Developing serverless RESTful API’s using related Amazon Web Services facilities.
Using SOLID design principles and design patterns within the correct context.
Maintain the SQL database and design ERD’s as deemed required.
Assist in managing the Windows and Linux VMs.
Maintain the Online Content directory using XPath and third-party API’s.
Ability to work as part of a team
Flexible attitude to adapt to the need of the moment
Transfer knowledge to other team members
Understanding of web services development for mobile applications preferably with a good knowledge of XML and JSON.
LAMP stack and at least one mainstream PHP Framework, MySQL and SQL SRV.
.NET stack with experience with either .NET Framework or .NET Core.
Knowledge of React or any other frontend framework will be looked upon favourably.
To attend conferences, events and exhibitions or any promotion, on behalf of the Fund as and when required.
