About the Role

As an eventfirst aider you will be providing professional first aid treatmentto patients whilst at public events, across the whole of theNorth Region, where St John Ambulance provides first aid cover.

Ideally,you will hold a current SJA Event First Aider Certificate or higher, however, we are can train people to this standard. If you don't have a certificate, the training takes five days and isunpaid, so you must be able to attend on all five days and successfully complete the course to be eligible to undertake paid casual work as an Event First Aider. Training dates are to be confirmed

About You

Successful applicants will be able to physically demonstrate they havebasic life support skillsandfirst aid knowledge, and ideally, will be acurrent St John Ambulance Event First Aider. You will beflexibleand be available at short notice andhavegood communication skills, be passionate about providing professional first aid care and the ability to work as part of a team.

This is a casual role and if successful you will be asked to workas required, including weekdays as well as some evenings and weekends.
