Graduate Project Engineer
£22,000 - £29,000 depending on experience, Northamptonshire.
25 days holiday, pension, Monday – Friday.

Working with an East Midlands based Engineering Company, with global turnover of £25million and a presence in 10 countries. What will you learn?

Graduate Project Engineer Training includes:
Working alongside projects team and liaising with internal departments to understand engineering, quality, commercial, production, warehouse, logistics, design and tooling processes.
Development of project designs and creation of tooling to deliver assembly equipment.
Management of product trials, production capacity, part supply and staff training for batch manufacturing.
Production of project and production reports to ensure suppliers meet delivery targets.
Working amongst a multi-disciplined team to understand various issues and constraints across the business, and work to provide engineering solutions.
The Role
The successful Graduate Project Engineer will work closely with relevant stakeholders across the business. Responsibilities will include:
Define the scope of the work and review contract and technical terms.
Prepare project milestones ensuring on time and in budget delivery.
Attend relevant trials across the business.
Provide relevant information and documentation to support customer visits, supplier visits, NPI, new equipment and layout changes.

The Candidate
The successful Graduate Project Engineer:
Graduate with a technical qualification - mechanical bias.
Ability to read 2D & 3D engineering drawings.
Self-motivated, tenacious, ambitious with a strong work ethic,
EU Driving licence.
