Job Description

We’re Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – and we’re dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease. We believe that if we all act now, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live and live well.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity to be a part of our Digital Engagement team and work across a suite of sites and content management systems. Our sites include breastcancernow, wearitpinkand fashiontargetsbreastcancer.

As a key member of the team, you will ensure that our websites are up to date and engaging for our users. You will be responsible for updating content, including re-sizing images and building webforms, and making sure our content works with our marketing activity. You will be a key point of contact for queries and questions from across the organisation and champion the role of digital in our work.

You will sit in the Digital Engagement team, who communicate the work and key messages of the charity to internal and external stakeholders via all digital channels. The team is split into Digital Engagement, Digital Marketing and Social Engagement, with the Assistant Director of Digital Engagement heading up the team.

About you

We are looking for a confident communicator who is enthusiastic, open to new ideas and interested in all things digital. You will have excellent organisational skills, be at ease editing copy and images, and have an appetite to achieve and learn.

Ideally you will have previous experience in a digital or communications role but most importantly you will be proactive, creative, and good at managing deadlines and changing priorities. You’ll enjoy working as part of an ambitious and supportive team, and see the value in collaboration as you work with teams across fundraising, campaigns, research communications and health information.
