An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated, dedicated and innovative Physiotherapists to join our workforce of rotational Band 6 Physiotherapy staff.
The staff rotate every 8 months between acute and community teams, covering: Respiratory, Emergency Village, Elderly/Medical, Pendleton Suite, Neurosurgery, Major Trauma, Neurorehabilitation, Stroke, Community Neuro and Intermediate Care. We have strong, multi-disciplinary led teams and you will be supported by the Physiotherapy Operational and Professional Lead, Clinical Leads and other MDT colleagues.
You will be expected to support the wider team and assist in the development of services within an MDT environment. Therefore, ability to work as part of a team, leadership skills and experience of supervising staff/students are essential criteria.
You should have significant post registration experience including experience working at a Band 5 level (or above) in both acute and community settings, covering a wide variety of specialty areas.
You will need to be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge in the assessment and treatment of patients; an understanding of the National Guidelines / Standards, as well as evidence of post graduate training.
Highly developed communication skills, flexibility, good organisational skills and time management skills are all essential criteria. Basic IT skills are also required. This position includes contribution to the weekend and on-call service.
