Translation

  • Perform on demand and planned translation, review, and quality control tasks related to Citrix products.
  • Work with our internal team of translators and project managers, and liaise with LANGUAGE contractors as required
  • Ensure that the expected level of translation quality is achieved and deliverables fit for purpose at all times.
  • Manage and maintain language assets (including glossaries and TMs) up to the quality standards required.
  • Training and development in machine translation post-editing
  • Take ownership of the overall quality output of specific LANGAUGE assets. Manage product-related queries.
  • Inform the Translation Services Manager of progress status as required.

Project Management

  • Basic project management experience desirable but not essential.
  • Assist with management of small projects if varying complexity and across multiple teams.
  • Execute tasks as defined in order to achieve milestones and goals.
  • Assist with day-to-day activities which may include duties such as communications, monitoring/tracking and reporting.
  • Assist in documenting requirements, constraints, and assumptions.

Requirements

  • Degree: Language or translation related studies
  • Good spoken and written English, professional communication required
  • Interest in software and technology
  • Be able to fit in a cultural diverse and dynamic environment
  • Ability and commitment to work on multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and to relate effectively with colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to triage urgent requests
  • Online research skills
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Sensitive to different cultural contexts
  • IT skills: Cloud, Windows OS and Microsoft Office, mobile apps, IoT
  • Some experience with CAT tools (not essential)
  • Be resourceful, self-motivated, organized and willing to learn
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships and build mutual trust in global cross-functional and virtual teams
  • Native Spanish or Japanese or Korean speaker with excellent writing skills
