To be considered for this excellent position, you will need to be a professional Science graduate who has a second class degree at the very least and already spent time in a role where you worked closely with children. The school want to meet Graduates who are passionate and mature and ready to teach
As a Science Support Graduate at this school you will be supporting teaching across the whole school. You will be working towards the Outstanding accreditation by starting your training early through this school's CPD plan. Part of your role will include advancing well ahead of your competition through the comprehensive advice and mentoring sessions run by an Outstanding Teacher who is your designated mentor for the whole of the academic year. You will have the responsibility of taking your first steps towards a career in teaching at a school that often gives support staff members priority when they come to advertise places on their School Direct plan. You will have many responsibilities here however your main focus Is to provide excellent classroom support where needed. Your responsibilities will include assisting the general lesson by taking pupils for more focused individual sessions. Part of your role will include joining a successful department that is loved throughout the school, due to the excellent quality of teachers who combine pastoral and academic guidance.
