AMION Consulting is a specialist consultancy that offers strategic advice and support on growth and development projects typically for public sector clients but also for some private and third sector clients. Our skills embrace economics, finance, visitor and leisure, social policy and property economics and development. Our clients range from central government, local authorities (including combined authorities), local enterprise partnerships, developers, universities and colleges, charities, sports organisations, special joint venture or partnership companies established to deliver growth projects and other professional firms.

We are absolutely focused on delivering success for our clients and work with them to understand their objectives, share our knowledge and deliver solutions to what are often critical and difficult issues. The firm is based in Liverpool but also has a London office and is led by its two major shareholders - both of whom were previously senior consultants in KPMG. All of our clients receive a director-led service. We are passionate about delivering the highest quality of advice and support to our clients and have significant level of repeat work which we attribute to the goodwill generated by the quality of our work and relationships.

We are at the leading edge in our field - advising on major projects (such as HS2 and Commonwealth Games 2022) and projects that are of huge importance to each of our clients and to the growth in local areas. An increasing part of our work and client base relates to our economics line of business. Our work is typically focussed on economic impact assessments and developing public sector business cases in the style required by HM Treasury in their Green Book.

The firm has 17 staff - a closely-knit team which also works regularly with a number of associates.
