Exciting opportunity to join our professional Team at one of our homes in London and make a real difference to young people’s lives.

About the Role

As Waking Night Residential Support Worker you will be involved in the direct day to day support of young people aged 11 to 17, joining in with activities, coaching on life skills, helping with homework and being a positive role model. You will also complete detailed records, write reports and assist with the general upkeep of the home.Key working for one or two of the young people will be expected.

Applicants should have:

  • Experience of working with Children and Young People.
  • Awareness of issues facing young people such as bullying, gangs and sexual exploitation.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and procedures relating to safeguarding young people.
  • Have high personal and professional standards.
  • Flexibility to undertake shift working including weekends and bank holidays, and occasional sleep-ins.
  • Have the ability to build genuine and trusting relationships and real passion for working with Young People.


  • Hold a vocational qualification at a minimum of level 3, particularlyDiploma Level 3 for Residential Childcare.
