Salary scale: £76,761 to £103,490 pa
Applications are invited for a Consultant Community Paediatrician to join a dynamic team.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic community paediatrician to complement our team. The successful candidate will work within our integrated paediatric department and be responsible for taking the lead role for Looked after Children (LAC) and Young People, including unaccompanied minors. They will contribute strategically in developing services for children who are looked after in Croydon. The post holder will have a key role in advising the Croydon Clinical Commissioning Group in relation to the delivery of their statutory requirements for this group of children. They will need to work collaboratively with the LAC designated nurse, children’s commissioners and children’s social care to enable the borough to improve health outcomes for looked after children.
The post holder will have the option of an additional 1PA for being joint Children’s Services Clinical Business Unit (CBU) lead.
Croydon has excellent transport links both to London and to the surrounding Surrey countryside. It has renowned shopping, theatre and arts as well as excellent schools locally and in the neighbouring boroughs.
