Person Specification – Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant - Literacy

The ideal candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic English Graduate who has a 2:1 degree or above. Any previous experience of mentoring/working with children would be advantageous. You must be able to start as soon as possible. This role is suited to a passionate, enthusiastic individual who would like to pursue teacher training in the near future.

About the role – Primary Teaching Assistant – Literacy

This role will involve you joining a supportive and multicultural Primary School in September as a teaching assistant. Your specific responsibilities will involve assisting with the schools literacy strategy and ensuring all pupils are making and exceeding expected progress. You may be required to work 1:1 to deliver booster and intervention strategies with pupils and liaise with their class teacher/parents.
