We have a number of commercial and sales focused roles across the business including the below:

Promotions and Partnerships internships

Disney Media Sales & Partnerships is the integrated Ad Sales arm of Disney UK & Ireland. It was launched in March 2011 to give UK advertising and promotional clients a more unified, more creative way of working with Disney across the industries that we work in – including film, television, publishing, consumer products and live entertainment – and the platforms we work with, such as mobile, online and video on demand.

Role and responsibilities:

As one of our interns in Media Sales & Partnerships, you will take an active involvement in supporting the business to bring to life clients' marketing campaigns through innovative and creative initiatives which leverage the breadth and diversity of The Walt Disney Company's assets – ranging from Disney to Pixar, Marvel, ABC and ESPN.

Disney Media Distribution (DMD) Internships

Disney Media Distribution (DMD) is responsible for sales of all video and non-video content including films, TV, games, music and publishing to a variety of partners and accounts at a regional and local level.

Role and responsibilities:

As an Intern in our Programme Sales team, you will be fully integrated in to the day-to-day activities of our Disney Media Distribution function undertaking a broad range of responsibilities including research and analysis support for strategy development, commercial deal analysis for sales activity and project management for the creation of sales presentations.

Retail at The Walt Disney Company

The retail business at Disney is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that works directly with our retail partners across the country, from high street superstores to online retailers, as well as our own portfolio of magical Disney Stores across the country. The team covers sales, logistics, merchandising and marketing across a range of exciting family-focused products from the Walt Disney portfolio, from DVDs to toys, food and apparel.

Role and responsibilities:

As an intern in our Integrated Retail business, you will be fully integrated in to the day-to-day commercial activities.

You will work closely with our Commercial Managers, supporting on meetings with retail partners and suppliers, helping to review product development and design proposals as well as branding and marketing activities. You will also gain exposure to contact negotiation and fiscal planning, offering you an excellent springboard for your future career.

About you:

  • MUST be an undergraduate returning to full time education in 2020
  • MUST have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Applicants should be studying a relevant degree e.g. Business, Marketing or Commerce
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in a sales focused role would be beneficial
