Position: Graduate Sales Executive - Progression Opportunities

Salary: £21K plus strong commission structure, expected OTE 25k-30k
About the role:
We would like you to prove to us that you have the mouldable skills required to be part of rapidly growing, B2B conference and business Intelligence company who do work with senior level executives from a range of industries every day. We’ll support you, train you and provide you with career opportunities. Plus, we’ll reward you generously for doing so!
You will be joining our Sales Team initially in a Delegate Registrations. Once you prove your sales acumen you will be offered an opportunity to participate in a development project to progress your career into Sponsorship Sales or Conference Production during your first year.
We’re looking for the very best so if you can prove you’ve got what it takes we’ll help you move forwards as fast as you can.
Initially you’ll take a seat within a driven, highly motivated sales team and have a golden opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. You will sell delegate places to the hottest leads across a variety of industry events and receive commission for every single sale you make.
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of dedicated delegate sales team to hit and exceed revenue targets
- Using excellent customer service to qualify and nurture sales leads
- Closing individual and group delegate registrations for senior-level ‘business to business’ conferences worldwide
- Working in a targeted driven environment towards incentivised event-based and annual revenue targets
- Receive training on the sales techniques required to be a successful sales executive
- The potential to progress into a consultative business development role focusing on higher level exhibition and sponsorship packages OR into a conference production role looking at creating high end, commercially viable events where you will gain a wide range of transferrable skills

- Confidence on the phone talking to senior level executives from major industries
- Ability to prioritise tasks and organise time efficiently
- Money-motivated with a determined outlook and a strong drive for results
- Self-motivated with a thirst for learning
- Strong team players who work well collaboratively and independently
- Entrepreneurial l flair is a real bonus
- Previous sale experience is not essential, but it will be considered a plus
