Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEN – 1:1 and class support
This warm and welcoming primary school in Birmingham are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative graduate to join their SEN team.
This is a crucial role whereby you will be supporting the SEN team to deliver tailored interventions alongside the SENCo to ensure their children have the best opportunities to succeed.
SEN Teaching Assistant – Graduate Role

The role is at a large primary school based in Birmingham and you will be supporting a number of children who have SEN or other barriers to learning. Each day, you will have a focus group of children who will spend time in one of their themed intervention rooms working through elements of literacy and numeracy that they are finding tricky. The school has an excellent training record, this year providing training to SEN graduate on speech and language intervention and autism awareness, amongst other training courses.
The school also has some of the most impressive facilities, including themed intervention rooms to allow for creativity and more vibrant learning environment.
No two days will be the same and this role is extremely rewarding for someone who is willing to hit the ground running and has the resilience and empathy to make a difference in this role.
This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for those with the career ambition to work within education either in teaching or educational psychology. You will be paid a competitive salary of up to £65 per day and will have plenty of room to progress in this role. The SENCO in this school is highly driven and has previous experience mentoring members of her SEN to become qualified, experienced and knowledgeable members of the team.
