ToucanTech is a UK EdTech company with an innovative cloud-based database, CRM and website software.

Our software has been developed and tailored to help education providers (schools and colleges) to manage community relationships (with alumni, parents and supporters) and facilitate much-needed fundraising and careers support for these institutions. In 2018 we evolved to serve a broader customer base of not-for-profits and corporate departments, offering a flexible community management tool.

In our 6th year, we now have over 120 customers, many of them international, in countries such as Hong Kong, USA, Australia and South Africa.

With ambitious growth plans, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing and internationally-minded Graduate Sales Intern who is interested in technology, business development and sales. You will need to understand the product and market quickly and help to respond to sales enquiries we already have.

Based in London (with flexible working), prior sales and/or technical experience are desirable, but not essential as the position includes a training and development programme. With the opportunity to be made permanent within 3-6 months.

You’ll work with our Head of Sales & Founder to:
Manage end-to-end sales pipeline management
Actively on-board new clients
Support on contract renewals
Respond to sales enquiries
Set up demos of our software
Assemble bespoke offers/ demo sites for sales leads
Hit the phone a lot speaking to and converting potential customers in our target jurisdictions

What we’re looking for:
Goal driven attitude to close deals
Hard-working and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills
Aptitude and desire to become a technical sales expert
Mature communication skills to present in front of customers
Analytical understanding of a complex sales process
Feeling home in a high growth environment with plenty of opportunities to expand your skills
Degree-educated with excellent spoken and written English
A clear and charming phone manner – to build relationships and engage with customers
Naturally interested in technology, online networking, databases and websites
Highly organised, a team-player and always ‘happy to help’
