The Governance Analyst will provide governance and administrative support to the IT Governance, Operations & Solution Delivery team. They will track and report on customer & internal projects, driving achievement of and compliance with business objectives and supporting processes. With support from SMEs, they will process high level business and client requirements, effectively and efficiently managing the compilation and tracking of the cost, status, priority and level of resource required to deliver the pipeline of IT work, & share outputs back to the business. They will also provide administrative support to the IT Programme Management team – recording, tracking and reporting on decisions and actions at Senior Management meetings.

Key Responsibilities

IT SOLUTIONS GOVERNANCE (50%)

• Tracking projects & producing project KPIs - necessitating data analysis/ manipulation/presentation

• Promoting/reporting compliance against dept. initiatives, e.g. Information Security awareness & training

• Supporting the starters/leavers process for the IT department

• Recording & arranging staff training

• Attending Senior Management meetings and recording, tracking, progressing and reporting on decisions and actions

MANAGEMENT OF PRODUCT & SERVICE CHANGE REQUESTS (50%)

• Analysing business and customer change requests

• Processing change requests - from internal stakeholder into and out of IT

• Communicating status & progress to internal stakeholders

• Recording and maintaining an up to date database of change requests from initial entry through to delivery or rejection

• Tracking change request KPIs

• Driving for continuous improvement to the change request business process

Qualifications

PRINCE 2

ITIL certification and demonstrating an analytical capability

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in a project or PMO role

• Previous experience in an software development business; knowledge of agile and/or change management an advantage

• Experience working in large teams, a multi-cultural global business

• Confident with a range of business applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint
