Description
The role of the Logistics and Project Management Intern is to ensure the smooth running of the daily logistics of UKHarvest food rescue operation, including supporting the drivers in their daily duties, liaising with donors and agencies about the daily pickups and deliveries, to enable and ensure excellent customer service, adherence to all safety regulations, from a food safety perspective, and efficient and effective completion of UKHarvest commitments to our donors and recipients.
Your role is also to work on the development and delivery of a system to ensure transparency between food rescued and delivered and to ensure our data is accurate and up to date.

- Support will be given and you will be mentored and trained within the job, but given the freedom to own your workload and excel within the role
- You will be supported to deal with multiple stakeholders, priorities and key partners, where you will learn everything that goes into the success of a charities work Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Educational attainment to Degree level or equivalent (practical work experience taken into account)
- Current driver’s licence
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Excellent problem solving and planning skills, balanced with ability to react quickly to events and to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
- Knowledge of logistics or a willingness to learn
- Time management and organisational skills
Personal Abilities and Aptitudes:
- A strong commitment and enthusiasm toward the vision of UKHarvest
- Energetic, positive and proactive
- Leadership focus
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong communications skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
