Joining our Consulting Development Community (CDC), you will be part of a project team who build trust-based relationships with clients, transform the way they work and help them reach their business goals. The sectors we work in include consumer products and retail, financial services and insurance, and government.
The focus of your role
Over two years, you’ll experience consulting delivery in a range of industries, and develop your skillset and capability. You will work on engagements which deliver Capgemini’s global solutions, including digital engineering, automation impact on HR, and AI and RPA ambition. During the programme, you will develop skills and capabilities that are core to your success as a consultant, including agile, business analysis, digital delivery, analytics, and operating model design.
What you’ll do
- You’ll develop core consulting skills by helping clients change the way they work
- You’ll work on large-scale transformation programmes in the UK and abroad
- You’ll engage with senior stakeholders and learn project management skills in order to set up and support your own project
What we’ll offer you
You will start your consulting career with an intensive, two-week induction, followed by a three-day residential consulting skills workshop run by our renowned Capgemini university.
During your time in the CDC there will also be the opportunity to gain external accreditations and professional qualifications such as:
- Agile and Scrum accreditation
- PRINCE2 foundation level
- CIMA’s Financial Management for Business
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt
At the end of the two-year CDC programme, subject to performance, you will progress to become a consultant in one of our practice teams, with the opportunity for further specialisation. Throughout the programme you will continue to have the support and structure in place to help you achieve this goal.
It’s all part of our commitment to hiring the best people and enabling them to achieve their full potential with us, regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
What we are looking for
- An ability to build relationships and foster trust
- A strong desire to further your own personal development
- Critical thinking, a curious nature, and a passion for problem solving and technology
