Additional Information Relating to Individual Team Vacancies:

HR & Payroll Teams:

Working within Transactional HR and Pay, using our customer management software and other channels of contact, you’ll handle relevant enquiries from employees, managers across the partnership and where appropriate, our HR department. You’ll be involved in setting up starters, leavers and carrying out changes to employee records on our SAP system, ensuring all documentation is stored in accordance with corporate policy protocols. It will be a requirement for you to understand calculation of statutory and occupational entitlements (including sickness and maternity related benefits), manual calculations of employee NI and tax contributions and administering invoices for overpayments. Ultimately this team ensures our payrolls are ready for input.

In your role within Payroll Support, you’ll create and link multiple employment records and assist with annual statutory payroll requirements e.g. year end/start, apply pay increments and pay awards. You’ll upload relevant data onto pay records and raise invoices for external customers and schools, for contract charges. Learning how to run HCC and other Payrolls, will enable you to deal with output for statutory and voluntary deductions.

Working within the high profile Pensions environment, you’ll gain knowledge of a wide range of schemes, ensuring all SAP employees are enrolled into the correct pension scheme and process opt in/out forms. You’ll ensure accurate and timely information is sent to the relevant pension provider for starters, leavers and amendments. Working closely with Hampshire Pension Fund and the Teachers Pension scheme, you’ll resolve enquiries for our customers and assist with the annual return to pension providers.

Customer Support Team:

The Customer Support team is at the forefront of helping our customers to self serve; we are the portal experts and the contact point for query resolution. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable to come and join our fast paced and expanding team.

With primary focus on our customers you’ll have a great opportunity to understand our wider organisation and the services we provide. In addition you’ll be rewarded with skills which can be transferred throughout your career with us.

Finance Team:

Working as part of the Banking and Billing team, you’ll be involved in processing all cash receipts to our customer accounts from cheque payments or other local banking deposits. You’ll engage with customers through various channels, identifying customer payment discrepancies that need to be passed onto our credit control team. If you’ve an eye for figures, this is a great place to start and build your knowledge of HCC banking arrangements.

The Purchasing team uses prescribed systems and procedures to process standard and exceptional invoices, payments or claims. You’ll be required to apply necessary controls to ensure accurate and timely payments are made, ensuring compliance at all times. Opportunities for areas of specialism include payment to care providers or using software such as VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) for payment of supplier invoices and payment support. You’ll act as a mentor to our suppliers to encourage self service and build positive relationships. Ultimately, you’ll ensure daily payment runs are ready for processing and will undertake end of month reconciliations.
