An exciting new opportunity has arisen to for a band 6 Deputy Lymphoedema Practitioner to work alongside the Lymphoedema Clinical Nurse Specialist providing care to patients across Surrey Heartlands in satellite clinics and in peoples own homes.
You will be expected to work autonomously as well as working in partnership with other healthcare professionals and the multi-disciplinary team providing expert care, advice and support. The role involves delivering comprehensive treatments, providing patient and carer information to support them in managing their long term condition.
You will be accountable to the Head of Tissue Viability.
A knowledge of primary, secondary and cancer related Lymphoedema and chronic conditions will be an advantage and experience of palliative care is desirable.
Personal attributes; flexible, well organised, able to work independently as well as being part of a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
