Our client is an IB-focused educational company, providing tuition, revision courses, resources, and advice to IB students around the world since 2011. With branches in London, Geneva, and Singapore, and in the process of expanding into the Netherlands, this is an exciting time to join a company transitioning from start-up to leading authority on the IB, and to really put your stamp on a vital aspect of the business.
The Client & Operations Manager will be an integral part of the Client Management team, overseeing some of the most important processes in their interaction with students, families, and tutors, as well as their collaborations with other companies. Candidates should be adept at planning, resourcing, and managing any number of concurrent projects, with responsibility increasing rapidly as competency and knowledge of the services and systems develop.
This role also asks for first-hand understanding of the IB, as this role will draw on your own educational experiences to help you support current IB students and their families to an excellent standard.
·Act as a first point of contact for students, families, and tutors via email and telephone.
·Update and maintain the Client Management team’s student records, including the live updating and maintenance of internal trackers; tracking student requests, enquiries, and job applications.
·Use your excellent organisational skills to ensure queries are resolved quickly and professionally.
·Support students with your excellent working knowledge of UCAS & university admissions.
·Oversee the team’s tutor recruitment procedures and act as the first point of contact for potential tutors over the phone and by email, as well as with universities and agencies.
·Be great speaking over the phone and have a confident, professional tone across all communication.
·Work closely within the Client Management team to ensure all students are placed quickly with excellently-suited tutors.
·Keep up-to-date with developments in the international education sector, and particularly on IBO-driven changes.
·Pitch new ideas for growth areas or ways we can support IB students better.
·Manage and develop your own projects, tailored to your skills and interests.
·Help steer marketing and branding decisions across three regions, with the opportunity to run your own campaigns.
·Anything else within their company which takes your fancy, from design work, to social media, blogging, accounting and coding- the joy of working in a growing team is you can make best use of all your talents.
·UK university graduate, Russell Group preferred
·Highly organised, driven, and outgoing
·Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken
·Some office experience
·Excellent working knowledge of the IB (essential), IGCSEs, and UCAS (both desirable)
·Tutoring experience preferred but not essential
·Ability to thrive in a close-knit team and fast-paced environment
Training and Development:
Working within the Elite IB team means you will be quickly responsible for managing your own time, pitching great ideas to the office, and able to travel regularly to Switzerland for their series of talks, tutor training, and courses.
Location: Fulham, London
Base Salary: Up to £25K (Depending on Experience)
