About the role

Integrated Circuit Design (IC Design) involves the creation of electronic components such as transistors, resistors, capacitors and everything in between; the basic elements of modern microelectronics. At DisplayLink, this area is is split into two groups; Design Verification Simulations and Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). Within this, the back-end team are responsible for the actual physical development of the chip.

What do you need?

At DisplayLink we’re looking for ambitious, analytical graduates to join our rotational IC Design scheme. If you’ve got a 2:1 in any STEM subject, whether that’s Computer Science or Physics, we want you to apply.

What you'll be doing

Join our IC Design team to design and implement our innovative network display products which are natively supported in a number of operating systems, including Chrome, Windows, Mac and Linux. You will be involved in many or all aspects of the design process from specification and architecture through RTL design of modules, functional verification, synthesis and timing closure, to silicon validation and production tests. Optimisation and enhancement of device-level architecture are also key aspects of this role.

We’ll equip you with real-world skills to deal with practical technical and engineering problems, in order to find solutions within design and simulations.

This will set you up to work closely on our ground breaking chips - which get used in all of our hardware, including the very first wireless VR headsets.

You must be fascinated by change and growth. This industry never stops developing, so if you’re willing to pick up new skills every day in an electrical environment, apply here!

We invest heavily in training, including a graduate learning budget which will enable you to upskill in a particular area of hardware which fascinates you.
