FULLTIME DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATE
Salary range £23,274 to £27,227 (incl. OLW) per annum depending on experience
AND FULL TIME DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATE TRAINEE
Salary starting from £19,302 (incl. OLW) per annum
Whilst the role of a trainee will be to undertake the same tasks as an advocate, this will involve very close supervision and support from a manager with regular training and development. This role will suit someone who has some of the skill sets in the job description and seeks to develop and acquire new skills in the area of advocacy.
Ability to speak Hindi or Punjabi or Urdu at least at a conversational level is essential
To promote the aims and objectives of Southall Black Sisters as a specialist organisation for black minority ethnic (BME) women and children.
To provide high quality and comprehensive advice, information, and practical advocacy support to BME women and children subject to domestic, sexual and other forms of gender based violence and related issues.
To promote the participation and engagement of BME women with SBS’ specialist services.
