Learning Support Assistant: Person Specification

To be considered for this role you must be a versatile graduate, who has a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role, and a strong academic record with a 2:2 or above in their chosen discipline. Ideally, the school need a graduate who can support the different needs of pupil development, both academically and socially. You must have the skills to use your high expectations and excellent work ethic to set a good example.

Learning Support Assistant: About the Role

This Year 5 Learning Support Assistant role involves you supporting the progress of a Year 5 child who has been identified as on the Autism Spectrum. As a Year 5 Learning Support Assistant you will be honing your natural teaching talents through a bespoke CPD and training course aimed at preparing graduates for a PGCE or School Direct placement. Day-to-day, you will be under the guidance of a committed and exceptional Leadership Team and Class Teacher.
