We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and well-motivated individual to fill a Trust Grade Doctor (ST1/2 level) post within our Gerontology Department. The post is for a fixed term period of 12 months, to be reviewed and extended, with an immediate start.
The new appointees will join a busy, supportive and approachable team with a strong commitment and a proven track record in providing high standards of patient care. The department is run by 10 consultants who are supported by 5 specialist Registrars in Gerontology and 10 junior trainees (F2, CMT, GPVTS). Although this post is not recognised for training, the post-holder will benefit from all the terms and conditions of a Senior House Officer post and would be an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to take their career forward within Gerontology and to gain further Acute Medical exposure.
