My client one of the world’s leading government-regulated awarding/membership bodies is currently looking for an Account Executive – Membership Sales

The job purpose is to:

To ensure all individual targets set by the by the Sales Director, are achieved.

To ensure all sales opportunities are linked to relevant campaigns in Salesforce.

To ensure that a minimum of 2 hours of outbound calls are made daily, aiming to generate upwards of 10 client proposals.

To ensure only approved collateral and set email proposals are used.

To attend events, to support business objectives.

Essential

A degree or similar

Ability to demonstrate strong sales achievement.

Excellent verbal and written communication, accurate grammar is essential.

Excellent and concise telephone manner.

Excellent relationship and presentation skills.

Ability to train others.

Strong ability to ‘cold call’.

Good interpersonal skills – able to communicate at all levels.

Ability to understand commercial strengths and limitations.

Ability to take judgements / make decisions based on good commercial awareness.

Intermediate level in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to work to targets and deadlines

Proven record of achieving personal sales or other targets and examples of successful business development, and client relationship management activities, particularly in a telesales environment.

Experience in membership and/or events related sales.

Experience of sourcing own sales leads and directing others.

Desirable

Accredited qualification, preferably in a business-related subject.

Experience of Salesforce CRM

Experience of selling to international clients
