A successful and growing business-to-business IT company are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their team. This is a varied role, where you will get the opportunity to undertake various activities on a day-to-day basis, including: creating email marketing campaigns, overseeing the company's social media accounts, designing materials for case studies, the company's website and social media posts, reporting back on marketing figures and inputting sales leads onto the company's CRM system. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work alongside the Marketing Manager to plan, create and implement digital marketing strategies. Creating email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp and sending them out to prospective/existing clients to promote products to ultimately, generate sales revenue.
Managing the company's social media accounts to ensure that the most up-to-date content is communicated to the target audience.
Designing materials to be used in case studies, the company's website and social media posts etc. to ensure that they look professional yet engaging.
Collating marketing figures and reporting them back to Senior Management to discuss strategies for improvement.
Recording sales leads information onto the company's CRM system to assist the business with business development activities.
A 2:1 or above in a Marketing or English-related degree will enable you to grasp concepts quickly and hit the ground running.
Graphic design experience and experience using design tools such as Photoshop, HTML/CSS editors and InDesign will allow you to produce striking marketing materials.
Strong organisational skills will enable you to prioritise and manage your workload effectively on a day-to-day basis in this varied role.
Strong communication and team work skills are critical to ensure that you are able to work closely and effectively with your line manager and other colleagues on a day-to-day basis.
A real interest and desire to learn about the IT industry will allow you to pick up knowledge and skills quickly and become a genius in your new role.
