We are Germany’s leading bank with strong positions in Europe and significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific. We’re driving growth through our strong client franchise, investing heavily in digital technologies, prioritising long-term success over short-term gains, and serving society with ambition and integrity. That means a career packed with opportunities to grow and the chance to shape the future of our clients.

About your internship

Join us and you will be an integral part of our team. Over nine intensive weeks you will experience what it’s like to work for our international bank. You will go through two job rotations and gain a wide range of practical experience. During your internship, you will also benefit from training courses, seminars and a variety of networking events. Successful interns will be invited to join the Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme.

About Global Markets: Equities Research

The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) combines Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Finance, Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies and Global Transaction Banking businesses. This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation.

Equities is a market-leading provider of equity and equity-linked products to institutional, corporate and retail clients worldwide. The equities platform is built on four product lines – Equity Trading, Equity Derivatives, Global Investment Solutions and Prime Finance – setting the standard in trading, origination, financing and distribution.

The role

Based in one of the world’s global financial centres, you’ll have real impact in the team, often contributing to actual publications. The groups you work in will depend on your interests and our business needs but whether you’re analyzing markets, communicating with clients or contributing to reports, you’ll benefit from intensive mentoring and structured feedback. Your learning curve will be steep, but you’ll also have plenty of support and guidance from senior managers and mentors.

The internship is an ideal way of finding out whether a career in Equities Research meets your needs and aspirations.
