A vibrant Secondary School in Central London are seeking an English Graduate to join their passionate English Department as a Subject Mentor where they will play a leading role in helping to raise pupil attainment within English.
**English Graduate (Subject Mentor)
**Southwark, Central London
**Full-Time role lasting for a minimum of an academic year
**£65-£75 per day as an English Graduate
**English Graduate – You must hold a minimum of a 2.1 in your degree
**Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school with a social, vibrant and creative English Department
**Providing support to KS3 and KS4 students
**ASAP start as an English Graduate
The school are looking for an English Graduate who has strong subject knowledge but, more importantly, someone who can translate this into tangible learning content for their students. The hired English Graduate will be confident in forming relationships with pupils and will act as a positive role model that reflects the school’s inclusive ethos.
As an English Graduate at this school you will...
*** Establish positive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and helping them to see that English can be relevant and fun!
*** Be supporting on a 1:1 basis and teaching small intervention groups within an agreed system of supervision and within a pre-determined lesson framework
*** Adjusting the content and the way you deliver the curriculum to cater for the individual interests and personalities of the pupils you are supporting.
