We are looking for an exceptional person to build, design and develop our new software engineering apprenticeship, in partnership with Flatiron School.

You will:
Teach, mentor and coach your apprentices through their 18 month journey on the apprenticeship, turning them into the next generation of developers
Work closely with Flatiron, drawing on their expertise in accelerated delivery to deliver a mixture of face to face and online sessions with a cohort of apprentices
Take full responsibility for the progress that your cohort of young people make through their apprenticeship, getting to know their roles in detail and working with their line managers
Utilise Flatiron content as well as developing your own to ensure you are delivering a highly effective training programme
About you!
You are completely passionate about teaching and love the detail of developing an effective learning experience. You will work with Flatiron School to develop a world-class curriculum for your apprentices
You are a player-coach: you can provide guidance, support and encouragement harnessing your experience to support people to kick start their career in software development
You are technical: you have indepth knowledge of Python, Ruby or Javascript
You have commercial experience in a Software Engineering team
You have experience teaching software engineering either as a Teacher, Teaching Assistant or Instructor, or as a hiring manager who has hired and grown junior talent
You will continually innovate in your delivery to ensure the training provided is effective for each apprentice’s role
You believe in delivering applied learning: it’s all about developing the knowledge and skills in a way that can be used in a real context, straightaway
You are a team player - part of the coach’s responsibility is to work with the team at WhiteHat and line managers to ensure apprentices are meeting the expectations of their employer and the qualification
You are all about social mobility. Helping young people whatever their background to master the foundations of software development
