The school are hoping to meet with a passionate English Graduate to join their department to maintain their success of the student’s progression in the core subject. The successful English Graduate Teaching Assistant must have great knowledge of the subject and have confidence to deliver this to students in a classroom environment.
The role as English Graduate Teaching Assistant will consist of; shadowing the class teachers in the department, giving them general support and overseeing their teaching skills whilst you adapt and expanding on yours. Using your teaching abilities, you will eventually be leading independent 1:1 and small group booster sessions for under/high-achieving students to help their academic and personal needs.
The school require that the successful English Graduate Teaching Assistant will hold a 2.1 or higher in their relevant degree, they must also have great academics through A-levels and GCSEs including A-C results in Maths and English.
