Graduate Electronics Engineer. Fantastic opportunity for a bright and willing Graduate Electronics Engineer to work within a team of 4 in the Engineering department of this electronics controls automation company. Expanding their existing team they require a bright and enthusiastic electronics engineer who will assist in the design, development and support of state-of-the-art products being rolled out to a global market.
The Graduate Engineer must have a 2.i Electronics degree from a leading university. Any placements or commercial experience would be beneficial but not essential.
From the degree course the Graduate should be comfortable with electronic design CAD packages, assembly & test. Able to read schematic diagrams & have a grasp of control theory and controls electronics. Working closely with the new product design team you will be required to help support the senior electronics engineer in designing new state-of-the-art innovative products.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Specification
* Design, development and implementation of control systems for automated special purpose machinery
* Motion control design, development and improvement
* Any programming experience with Hardware, Firmware and software design for embedded processors useful (C, assembly for example)
* Logic controllers, logic gates, programmable logic controllers
* Electrical Circuit Design
* Fault finding
* Document writing of electronic products (attention to detail v. important)
* Support in manufacturing for products including sourcing of necessary components
* Liaising with suppliers
Some key skills that would be useful to have gained during your degree course:
* PLC’s and control theory modules
* Control design, analysis
* PID controllers
* Microcontrollers
* PCB, Schematics, electrical CAD design
* Embedded C, Delphi, C++, Assembly., MatLAB or other low level language
* Digital Comms (CANbus, Modbus, Profibus) for example
* Fault finding and Testing
* Qualification and documentation
