This friendly, two form entry primary school, that caters the curriculum to each child’s specific needs, is looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful graduate to bring something new to their school. The role will involve working malleably throughout the whole school; supporting a range of ability groups.
You will be expected to work 1:1 or with small focus groups, either boosting the progress of low ability groups or pushing for greater depth with high ability learners. You will need to be able to adapt to different social, academic and emotional needs and think on your feet when supporting the children you work with.
Due to the nature of this role, it is important that you are looking to gain experience throughout all Key Stages. If you have a specific hobby or interest, then this is desirable because the school are looking for somebody who would be willing to start up a new club. You will need to have a degree with a minimum if a 2:1 classification and be confident in your core subject ability. Preferably, you will have experience with children, either through tutoring, extra-curricular activities or other relevant role and have a genuine desire to become a teacher.
