My client a oversubscribed secondary school based in the heart of East London are seeking four graduates to join the support staff team from September to work as a graduate teaching assistant.

This is a great chance to gain experience in a good secondary school ahead of applying for a PGCE/teacher training.

The school also offers Schools Direct after graduates have spent the year working as a teaching assistant.

This teaching assistant role is a full time position, 5 days per week and would suit a recent graduate who is eager to gain develop their experience with young people ahead of commencing teacher training.

As a teaching assistant you will be working within the schools Learning Support Department where you will have the opportunity to working with pupils of all abilities in a wide range of subject areas.

The head teacher is looking to interview recent graduates who have some form of recent experience with young people. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as voluntary school work, overseas teaching, tutoring, sports coaching, youth work....

This is a full time teaching assistant role - Monday - Friday and is for the full academic year (July 2019).
