Person specification – Science Graduate

This school are looking for someone with heaps of determination and ambition. Ideally you will have a 2:1 or above degree in a Science subject. Some previous experience of working with children is ideal, for example tutoring, but not essential.

You will be supporting KS3 and KS4 students within the science curriculum, gaining excellent experience prior to a teacher training course next year. After a period of training you will be required to deliver 1:1 and small group intervention sessions. This role will also involve supporting pupils with additional needs and supporting the SENCo. Throughout your time at the school you will find yourself work within the classroom and in smaller groups, aiding students who may need additional support in certain areas of science topics.
