About the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role
This Graduate Teaching Assistant role involves you working in a specific class based on your skills, experience, and personal preference. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be functioning and engaging with the Head of Department's positive mental attitude of an ethos. You will gain invaluable experience as you work with the SENCO, class teachers and external agencies to forward the progress in academic and social areas of SEN pupils. You will assist the teacher by helping plan lessons and ensuring the necessary class resources are available to use in class. Although probably not involved in your day-to-day duties, the school's highly-skilled H oversee all teaching staff and can offer excellent guidance and career direction.
