Our client is a workplace furniture manufacturer. They are looking to employ a Sales Support, Customer Services representative to ensure customers’ requirements are always met or exceeded, throughout the sales process and provide general assistance and support to the Sales Teams.

Job Summary:

  • Help host client visits in the showroom
  • Help host client, Architect & Design and other events in the showroom
  • Assist with local marketing campaigns and events
  • Help to create and communicate information to dealers
  • Act as a telephone-based sales support function for dealers
  • Issue quotations in line with company guidelines
  • Ensure all orders and projects scheduled in the most efficient manner, taking logistics and installation plans into account
  • Attend on site project meetings were necessary both internal and external
  • Handle client / internal enquiries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders when required
  • Assist with seminar / launch activities whenever possible
  • Work with the rest of the Customer Service team to focus on improving processes to provide an outstanding level of service to all customers.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key contacts at customers
  • Maintain brochure and sample libraries ensuring all contents are up to date
  • Issue internal and external client reports as required
  • Become primary point of contact for our customer base
  • Complete Order processing in accordance with company guidelines
  • Update and maintain Client files

Candidate Profile:

  • Ability to work in a busy and varied environment with exposure to pressurised sales support
  • Exposure to sales support databases
  • Experience with communication with all levels of people, including clients and suppliers
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Must have the capability to learn and master new order management systems


  • Salary of £30,000 (dependent on experience)
