There is an exciting opportunity to join a well-supported Primary School in Swale, as a behaviour Mentor in a KS2 Class.

*** £60-£65 per working day (paid on a weekly basis)

The successful Behaviour Mentor must:

You will need to be a charismatic graduate who has a degree at a 2:2 or better and experience working with Primary aged children or challenging behaviour. You should have the capability to develop a natural rapport with pupils and display a caring attitude and approach to their individual needs. You will provide the confidence to calmly approach challenging situations and scenarios during the school day.

The role of a Behaviour Mentor:

As a KS2 Behaviour Mentor you will be supporting the development of a Year 3 child, who often causes disruptions, on a 1:1 basis. Like all members of staff here, you will be able to join the CPD programme and have the opportunity to train to teach if this is a career route you would like to take. You will be fully supported in this role and will have continuous guidance from the school SENco throughout the placement.
